Merregnon: Skissor
Skissor is conceited, manipulative and lacking in empathy. We hear clearly in the music that he is a frightening and unpredictable character. In Merregnon: Land of Silence, his melody is played by the clarinet. When the stage falls dark, the bass clarinet takes over the melody.

Just like flutes (see the video about Ikari), there are also many different kinds of clarinets. They can sound soft and stealthily cat-like, but also shrill and hot-tempered. Here, the different registers of the clarinet bring sinister Skissor to life – he promised peace, but only created icy silence.
In Merregnon: Land of Silence, Miru embarks on an unforgettable adventure together with her childhood friend Hikito and the loyal dog Mako. Their goal is to find out what is plaguing the Land of Silence, Merregnon. Merregnon is a symphonic tale of courage, perseverance, solidarity and freedom.
The fantastical world is painted with captivating melodies and symphonic sounds. As in Sergei Prokofiev’s classical musical tale, Peter and the Wolf, each character is portrayed by a distinct theme played by one of the orchestra’s various instruments.
The music is composed by Yoko Shimomura, one of the most prominent video game music composers of our time. She composed the music for internationally best-selling games like Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy XV.
