Blue House Youth Jazz Festival 2026

A three-day jazz festival featuring workshops, lectures, concerts, and competitions for young people from around Sweden. Welcome 20-22 March 2026.
The Blue House Youth Jazz Festival is intended for members of big bands and jazz ensembles from Sweden’s culture schools, aesthetic upper-secondary school, folk high schools, and music colleges. The program includes three days of workshops and lectures with Swedish and international jazz musicians as well as several concerts, and culminates on the last day with the Swedish Big Band Championships and Jazz Ensemble Competition. The Blue House Youth Jazz Festival at Konserthuset Stockholm draws over 400 students every year.
At the Blue House Youth Jazz Festival 2025, performances included Camille Thurman and the Darrell Green Quartet, Ababhemu Quartet, Mainland Jazz Collective, Mattias Windemo, Jan Adefelt, Bengt Stark, Stefan Gustafsson, Lina Löfstrand and others in the festival’s rich and varied programme.
